Demon lay in his silk bed, a bacon flavoured bone on his mouth. It did taste good, but how he wished he could hunt out in the wild, Free from baths, gates and cages. His twoleg mother came downstairs and opened the back door, then they went to Demon and unlocked his cage. He was in a cage because he could open doors with his paws, not because he was dangerous. Demon sprang out the cage and flew out the door, landing straight on his face. The back gate was open... it was his path to freedom. Demon decided he would only go for a little bit, return for his tea, duck leg with plum sauce and cranberries. He licked his lips at the thought. Then he raced out the gate and into the wilderness.
