Chocopaws sat on her fence, gazing off into the forest. The thoughts of Brownpelt, her deceased mate, still lingered in her mind. No, no, no! I can't think of him, otherwise I'll end up doing something stupid again.. She thought, still gazing off into the forest. "Its seems to be so.. interesting out in the forest! But I can't go. April will get sad if I leave," she mewed, talking to herself. Thoughts of Brownpelt drifted into her mind again, which she shook out, the thoughts scattering. She continued to sit on her fence, until April or her parents beckoned her to come back in.
